FLATBUSH, NY — Life of Hope, a nonprofit organization, will host a Haitian Culture Day on May 11 as a way to celebrate the legacy, resilience and beauty of Haiti, officials said.

The annual event will also help address barriers faced by the community, including economic, cultural, and access to services.

The event will kick off with a parade at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Nostrand Ave. and Church Ave.

Then at Hillel Plaza from 1 to 6 p.m., attendees can enjoy live Performances from Tabou Combo, a fashion show, a DJ set from Colmix TeamDaDa and a number of food and authentic goods vendors.
