Human Remains Found During Sewer Work In East Flatbush, Reports Say
A skull and other bones were found near Holy Cross Cemetery.
EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN – Workmen digging in Brooklyn sewers turned up human remains this week, according to news reports. The grisly find was made 13 feet underground on Flatbush Monday.
The body parts included a skull, arm and leg bones, according to NBC New York. They were found on Clarkson Avenue near 48th Street. Police said they did not suspect foul play.

Holy Cross Cemetery and Kingsboro Psychiatric Center are both near to the scene, though it was not clear if the bones had any connection to either site.
The city medical examiner confirmed the remains are human, according to the Daily News, but police couldn't say how long they had been underground.
