Police Name Suspects In Summer Ditmas Park Killing

The two men allegedly shot a man dead near Ocean and Church avenues in July after an argument.

DITMAS PARK, BROOKLYN — The NYPD has named two suspects they are looking for in connection with a killing in Ditmas Park over the summer.

On Tuesday, July 11, around 11:30 p.m., 20-year-old Justin Hackley, a Clinton Hill resident, was shot dead near the intersection of Ocean and Church avenues.

According to police, Hackley and his 24-year-old friend got into an argument with the two suspects, pictured above.

The argument turned physical, and one of the men shot Hackley twice, once in the neck and once in the chest, police said. The men fled north on Ocean Avenue, according to police.

The man on the left is Dean Boland, 28, and the man on the right is Rasheed Boland, 25, police said. They are still at large.
