Jake Gyllenhaal Buys $8.63M Apartment In TriBeCa Building

The actor is moving into a building on Greenwich Street with a lot of famous neighbors.

TRIBECA, NY — The ranks of A-list celebrities who call 443 Greenwich St. home has grown by another Golden Globes nominee: The actor Jake Gyllenhaal shelled out $8.63 million for an apartment in the building, The Real Deal reports.

The "Brokeback Mountain" star bought a pad at 443 Greenwich St., home to scores of other celebrities thanks to its paparazzi-proof garage. The Real Deal was first to spot the city documents that list Gyllenhaal as the new owner. According to the documents, the unit was purchased by an LLC named Woodrow Trust, which Gyllenhaal has previously used to purchase property. Gyllenhaal most recently made his Broadway musical debut in "Sunday in the Park with George."

The actor joins multiple famous residents who reportedly call Greenwich Street home, including Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Lawrence and Meg Ryan, who just recently purchased a home in the building.
