Tribeca Homes Are The Priciest In NYC, Study Finds

How much does the typical home in Tribeca sell for? Quite a lot, according to a new study.

TRIBECA, NY — Tribeca has maintained its status as the priciest neighborhood for real estate, with a median sales price of $3.5 million for residential properties, according to a new study.

A survey of real estate sales from Property Shark inventoried all of the city's property sales in the first quarter of 2018 to find out which neighborhoods were the most expensive. The tony neighborhood of Tribeca kept its spot at number one, Property Shark found.

In 2017, the median sales price for a Tribeca home was a whopping $4.68 million, according to a previous study by Property Shark. The first financial quarter of 2018 has seen a drop in sales prices for the neighborhood, but that decrease wasn't enough to make Tribeca an affordable neighborhood, according to the report.
