Car On Nassau Street Used For Shooting Practice: Police
Police say about 20 shots were fired at the unoccupied car early Sunday morning.
UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police are investigating after a car in Uniondale was seemingly used for target practice early Sunday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a call for shots fired at 4:05 a.m. near the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Jerusalem Avenue.
When the officers arrived, they found an unoccupied car with multiple bullet holes in the door, and about 20 spent shell casings littering the ground. The officers could not find any witnesses in the area. No one was injured.
