Couple Sold Drugs From Home Near Nassau Elementary School: Police

Police say a search of their home found cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

WESTBURY, NY — Nassau County police arrested a couple from Westbury who they say were selling drugs out of their home next door to Park Avenue Elementary School.

According to police, detectives conducted a search at the home on Clover Lane at 7:05 p.m. on April 8. Police say they found cocaine and drug paraphernalia during the search.

William Jackson, 40, and Karona Lambert, 36, were both arrested without incident.

Jackson was charged with six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Lambert was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were both arraigned on April 9 in First District Court in Hempstead.
