The Sound of Music Comes to Eisenhower Park

County Executive Edward Mangano announced on Tuesday that Plaza Theatrical Productions will be performing "The Sound of Music" at Lakeside Theatre in Eisenhower Park on Friday.

Admission will be free.

“I invite everyone to bring the family down to Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theatre on Friday night and enjoy a wonderful performance of The Sound of Music,” Mangano said.

Plaza Theatrical Productions, founded in 1983, is a Long Island based professional touring company that serves public organizations, schools, camps, country clubs, convention centers and senior citizen developments. 

The company mounts fully-staged musicals, comedies, children's theatre and musical revues.  

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
