NuHealth Celebrates Fifth Month of Rapid Improvement Events

NuHealth celebrated its fifth month of rapid improvement events:

• In the Ambulatory Care Value Stream, the process of patient scheduling was re-designed for several specialty clinics
• In the Revenue Cycle Value Stream, the emergency room medical chart process was streamlined
• An additional LEAN core team event was a “6S Blitz” in the Department of Psychiatry. (This is a methodology used to reorganize workspaces in order to improve efficiency, quality and safety.)
