NuHealth/NUMC Participates in Health Fair, 'Kingdom Day'

NuHealth/NUMC's Ob-Gyn and Pediatric services participated in the Hispanic Counseling Center's children's wellness fair Sept. 14 in Hempstead where staff provided screenings and information on women's services.

A week prior, NuHealth was invited to participate in Kingdom Day at Martin “Bunky” Reid Park in Westbury. Staff, including Marvin Berg, injury prevention coordinator at NUMC, helped bring awareness to the community about services at the medical center, including its HIV/Infectious Disease Clinic and Trauma/Injury Prevention Program. Free blood pressure screenings were also provided.
