Rosh Hashanah, First Day of School

First Day of School: East Meadow Public Schools will welcome back students on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday, Sept. 5-6, in observance of Rosh Hashanah.

Rosh Hashanah: Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Check back for a schedule of high holiday services.

Regular Library Hours Begin: Regular Saturday hours begin
at the East Meadow Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 7 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Summer hours were 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
