NUMC Summer Volunteers Honored at Luncheon

Approximately 150 summer volunteers of the NuHealth/Nassau University Medical Center were recognized at a luncheon in their honor.

Many of them had worked in various areas of the hospital, helping to transport patients, assisting with clerical work and learning about the health care field.

The summer volunteers were directed by Linda Walsh, director of volunteer services at the Nassau University Medical Center.
