Police say the woman forced herself into an apartment and assaulted another woman, then fled from officers when they tried to arrest her.
WESTBURY, NY — A New Jersey woman was arrested late Friday after Nassau County police say she assaulted a Westbury woman, and then deliberately crashed into two police cars.
According to police, around 10:10 p.m. on Aug. 13, Luvleek Alexandre, 24, of Newark, New Jersey, pushed her way into an apartment on Union Avenue in Westbury. Police say she pushed her way past a 77-year-old man and began to punch a 20-year-old woman in the head, arms and body.
The man repeatedly told Alexandre to leave, police say, as he tried to pull her off of the woman. He tried to call 911, but police say Alexandre took his cell phone, threw it and broke it. She then grabbed a steak knife and threatened the woman, police said.
