Car Crashes Into Flushing Bank, FDNY Says

A car crashed into a Flushing bank on Main Street during rush hour Monday.

Flushing, NY – A car crashed into the Valley National Bank on Main Street in Flushing late Monday afternoon, according to the FDNY. The crash caused a break in a gas line that has now been shut off by Con Ed. There are no reported injuries.

FDNY officials said it was unknown it the utility line was inside or outside the bank. Authorities were notified at approximately 3:40 p.m.The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
