60 Firefighters Battle Blaze At Diner Near Forest Hills, FDNY Says
No one was hurt in the Monday morning blaze, fire officials said.

QUEENS, NY — A fire broke out in a diner on the edge of Forest Hills early Monday morning requiring dozens of firefighters to quell the flames, according to the FDNY.
The blaze erupted at Silver Spoon Diner on Junction Boulevard near 59th Avenue about 4:30 a.m., the fire department confirmed.
The department issued an all-hands alarm and 60 firefighters rushed to the diner, putting out the blaze in under an hour, according to the FDNY. No one was hurt in the blaze, fire officials said.

Silver Spoon Diner wasn't open at the time of the fire, as, according to its website, it is closed Monday and Tuesday. The diner didn't answer the phone when Patch called Monday morning.
The diner is located on the edge of LeFrak City, a 20-tower housing development where a fire in May injured four people, Patch reported.
