The Queens College Choral Society is accepting new members for Spring 2026, which will feature Fauré’s beloved Requiem, and the world premiere of a new cantata by Los Angeles-based composer David Stern based on Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass. Anyone with prior singing experience is welcome to audition, including faculty, staff and students from any CUNY college, as well as members of the surrounding community. Students may receive one elective credit for singing in the group. We are a diverse, welcoming ensemble with a place for you!
Auditions consist of basic singing skills—no preparation is necessary.
Auditions are in Music Building 350 on the following dates:
- Wednesday, January 21, 6-9 pm
- Monday, January 26 7:30-9:30 pm
- Tuesday, January 27, 3-5 pm
