This week's comment is on a story about a thief who stole $90,000 from a car.
Several readers commented on Forest Hills Patch's Facebook page about a June 11 story about a thief that stole a whopping $90,000 from a car parked in Flushing. Here are several of the comments:
"Why would anyone have that much cash in a car, much less a vehicle without anyone watching the cash?" asked reader Evelyn Tipacti. "Doesn't make this crime acceptable, but it makes you wonder why anyone would have that much cash in an unattended vehicle."
"I'm still trying to comprehend why someone would have this much money in their car in a plastic bag," reader Patricia Morales said. "Sounds suspicious."
And reader Gyorgyi Mendell posed this question: "Inside job?"
