This restaurant, located at 100-11 Metropolitan Ave., serves up homestyle Italian fare alongside a broad selection of Italian and Californian wines. Owner and Head Chef Giuseppe Vitale, who was born in Naples, Italy, combines ingredients of traditional Italian home cooking with a sophisticated touch of haute cuisine, according to its website.

La Vigna's three course Dine In Queens dinner starts with an appetizer selection of eggplant rollatini, stuffed mushrooms or baked clams along with a soup or salad. Next up, patrons can choose a main course from four authentic Italian dishes: bowtie pasta with arugula and baby shrimp, chicken breast topped with prosciutto and mozzarella, parmigiano-style breaded chicken breast or grilled salmon with Dijon mustard sauce.
