FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A Forest Hills couple trying to make some extra cash was busted selling two stools made from elephant feet, according to the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

Investigators spotted the stools selling for $1,800 online, a class E felony under state conservation law, officials said Wednesday.

Department of Environmental Conservation police officers set up an undercover "buy bust" on May 25 and slapped the couple with a $500 violation, but nixed the penalty after the couple gave up the stools.
