Forest Hills Italian Eatery Tuscan Hills Announces Relocation

The restaurant closes the doors to its current location on Aug. 1.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS - Seven years after nestling into its home at 115-20 Queens Blvd., Italian restaurant Tuscan Hills announced that it will be shutting its doors Aug. 1 and will reopen about six blocks over to 110-60 Queens Blvd., according to the restaurant's website.

The new location is currently home to Tuscan Hills' sister eatery, Ovo Sodo.

Ovo Sodo will be closed until Aug. 2 while renovations take place. This sign is currently posted outside the restaurant:

Owners Marco del Peschio and Roberto Lamorte told DNAinfo they decided to consolidate so as to avoid the rising costs of running two restaurants and because the Ovo Sodo location is closer to the center of Forest Hills, making it more accessible. The restaurant will reportedly keep the Tuscan Hills name and menu, along with a number of items from Ovo Sodo, such as the brunch menu and grandma-style pizza pies.
