Getting Back to Work

Courtest of C-SPAN, here's a look at House Speaker John Boehner (arguably the least popular man in America right now, certainly in the northeast) swearing in the 113th Congress.

Not pictured in the video was U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, D-Flushing, who became the first Asian-American legislator from New York and Forest Hills' representative in Washington.

Boehner has taken heat, especially from those in New York and New Jersey, over his tabling of a vote on a Sandy relief bill on Wednesday. He has since placated several members of his own party who blasted him for pulling the vote, according to Politico.
