Host 1-3 Japanese students and Earn money! Share cultures and adventures together. Group of 30 Japanese students arrive on December 28th and leave on January 5th. (8 nights)
You have the opportunity to host 1-3 Japanese students who will live with an American family during their adventure. They arrive on December 28th and they will depart on January 5th. (Eight nights total)
Students per home depending on how many beds are offered.
$440 for eight nights for hosting one student.
$880 for two students for eight nights
$1,320 for three students for eight nights
Each host family provides the student an immersive, diverse, and rich experience of living with an American family. FOA students will share their own culture to the host family. Both student and family will have many opportunities to learn and express their stories and experiences about their respective families, friends, interests, and culture.
This is a homestay program, breakfast plus family dinner is provided for each student each day, and family lunch on weekends or holidays.
They will be attending Queens borough Community College for classes and most pick up and drop off locations. The location address for all pick-ups and drop offs will be at 222-05 56th Ave, Queens, NY 11364
We are also offering a $100 referral Fee to any friends or neighbors who are willing to host and are approved.
Many of our host families have continued long term relationships with our students over the years and have even visited our students in their home country.
Even though we have been operating since 2012, our new location here in NYC offers a new and exciting experience for our future students.
We are Fun Opportunity Abroad, and we bring groups from Japan to the California, and now NYC to learn English while educating themselves on the American culture.

Let your family enjoy the opportunity of hosting an international student for a short term. Experience a new culture without getting on a plane, and let international culture visit your own home. If your family has interested in learning about becoming a host family for FOA this is a wonderful opportunity to expand/enhance your cultural awareness.
Homestay families provide the comfort and safety of a family while providing room and board for the student. All families will incorporate them within their family lifestyle and take them to family or friend gatherings when opportunities are available.
We are happy to provide you with the needed details of their visit, and we are happy to provide you the itinerary and all need details.
