Nevermind, TSA Delaying Decision On Airborne Knives
After consideration, urging from Senators, TSA gives it another think.

The Transportation Security Administration has delayed a plan to allow small knives on planes that was scheduled to go into effect this week, NY 1 reported.
Earlier this year, the TSA announced that it would begin allowing small knives, bats, golf clubs and other sporting equipment on passenger planes as of April 25.
New York Sens. Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand blasted the proposal, which they called “dangerous.”
The TSA recently said it was unlikely that a terrorist could successfully take over a plane again with a small knife due to new security measures, NY 1 reported.
Small knives had been banned on planes following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The TSA has not yet commented on its policy reversal.
