Pic of the Day: So Long, Meter Bags
As meters leave the neighborhood, so too will errant garbage bags.
Patch user/contributor Stephen Melnick sent in this photo of a broken Queens Boulevard parking meter covered with a plastic bag.
As the city replaces parking meters in Forest Hills, this sight will be less and less common.
"It will be a pleasant change for the neighborhood," Melnick said.
