Police Find 2 Goats In Car In Response To 'Crime' Call, NYPD Says
"They are in the front seat. They are locked in the vehicle" says an officer in a police scanner report posted on the Citizen app.
REGO PARK, QUEENS — Police officers showed up to a residential street in Rego Park on Sunday night in response to a 911 call, only to find two goats sitting in a car.
When officers got a 911 call around 11 p.m. on Sunday, they were told there was a "possible crime" happening in front of 98-25 65 Road, in Rego Park, according to the NYPD.
When they showed up at the so-called crime site, however, all the officers found were two goats in a car, police said.

Police scanner reports posted on Citizen, by contrast, tell a slightly different story. In the reports an officer clearly states that the incident includes "two goats" stuck in a car, with no mention of a crime.
"They are in the front seat. They are locked in the vehicle. That's what the job is saying," says the officer, who appears slightly confused, and says she is "trying to make a correction here."

Videos taken of the car, however, confirm that there are two goats in the front seat.
Police said that the owner came to the car and took back the goats at an unspecified time, despite the fact that it is illegal to keep goats — as well as most farm and exotic animals — as pets in New York City
