Veterans Can Get Free Dental Care In Forest Hills All Month
A Forest Hills dental clinic is giving veterans and their families free care all November for National Veterans and Military Families Month.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A Forest Hills dental clinic is providing military veterans and their families with free care all month long in honor of National Veterans and Military Families Month.
Plaza College's community dental clinic is offering free dental care to U.S. veterans and their immediate family members throughout November, according to a press release. The clinic is staffed by dental hygienist students working under the supervision of certified dentists.
Most veterans only have limited access to dental care through the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, according to the agency's website.

"Maintaining oral health is vital to keeping your entire body healthy," Dr. Laura Sleeper, who directs Plaza College's dental hygiene program, said in a statement.
"At Plaza College, our dental hygiene students strive to make a difference by providing accessible healthcare to New Yorkers. We not only salute our veterans but also their good health."
