Weekend Transit Roundup: Changes to R, M, F and E Lines

There will be some changes to the subway lines that service Forest Hills this weekend.

There will be no R train service between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn. Changes affect several stops, including City Hall, Cortlandt and Court Streets.

Also, Jamaica-bound R trains will skip 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard and 65th Street.

On the F line, Jamaica-bound trains will run on the E line from 47-50th Streets to Roosevelt Ave., while the M’s weekend service operates between Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue.

Lastly, Jamaica-bound E trains will skip 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard and 65th Street.
