Woodhaven Drive-By Shooting Kills Brooklyn Man, Police Say

Police found a Bed-Stuy man shot in the neck and leg on Jamaica Avenue early Sunday morning.

WOODHAVEN, QUEENS — A Brooklyn man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Woodhaven early Sunday morning, police said.

Cops responding to a 911 call around 3:15 a.m. found Frank Snyder of Bed-Stuy shot in his neck and leg on Jamaica Avenue between 98th and 97th streets, the NYPD said. The shots were fired from the passenger seat of a black four-door sedan, an NYPD spokesman said.

Snyder, 35, was taken to Jamaica Hospital and pronounced dead there, police said. No arrests have been made in the shooting, which is still under investigation, the NYPD said.
