73 Affordable Apartments Available At New Fulton Street Building

The 73 affordable spots include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, all for around $1,000 a month.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN -- More than 70 newly-constructed apartments on Fulton Street are up for grabs in the affordable housing lottery. The building, found right on the border of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, offers one-bedroom, studio and two-bedroom units for around $1,000 a month.

Those making 60 percent of the median income in the area can apply for one of the affordable units, which include 22 studio-size spots for $913 per month, 36 one-bedroom units for $980 per month and 15 two-bedroom spaces for $1,183 per month.

The 810 Fulton Street building was developed by RXR Realty and Broadway Construction Group and tops out at 12 stories. It will offer some space for retail in addition to the apartments, which will include slew of amenities, such as a 24/7 concierge, a live-in manager, a pet spa, a fitness center with a yoga studio, parking and bicycle storage, according to YIMBY.

Outside, residents can also use a landscaped courtyard and terrace, and outdoor movie screen and a rooftop lounge with a catering kitchen.

Applicants for the studio or one bedroom units should make between $33,189 and $43,860 for one person or between $33,189 and $50,100 for two people. For the two bedrooms, applicants can have a combined income between $42,549 and $50,100 for two people, $42,549 and $56,340 for three people and $42,549 and $62,580 for four people.
