Affordable Housing Lottery: 10 Clinton Hill Apartments Available For Less Than $1K

See if you qualify for a cheap two-bedroom apartment at 1007 Atlantic Avenue.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — A batch of new Clinton Hill apartments — all of which cost less than $1000 a month — are now available on the affordable housing lottery.

Ten units at 1007 Atlantic— a new 8-story apartment building on Atlantic and Classon avenues — will be available by lottery until July 13th, city records show.

The apartments are available only to applicants who meet specific income requirements.

  • Two studios priced at $780 a month are available to a single applicant who earns between $26,743 and $40,080 a year
  • Three one-bedrooms priced at $806 a month are available to:
    • A single applicant who earns between $27,635 and $40,080 a year
    • Two applicants who earn between $27,635 and $45,840 a year in total
  • Five two-bedrooms priced at $973 a month are available to:
    • Two applicants who earn between $33,360 and $45,840 a year in total
    • Three applicants who earn between $33,360 and $51,540 a year in total
    • Four applicants who earn between $33,360 and $57,240 a year in total

The lotto winners chosen to live at 1007 Atlantic Ave. will have access to a landscaped roof deck with grilling areas, a bike storage room, and a package room.

Each of the 50 apartments in the development will have white oak flooring, Bosch kitchen appliances, Italian porcelain tiled bathrooms and Kohler bathtubs, according to the building’s website.
