DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — Even if you missed the meeting, you won't be able to miss the building.
The city's Landmarks Preservation Commission voted Tuesday to approve a planned 73-story tower at 9 DeKalb Ave downtown — the future tallest building in Brooklyn.
The site is currently occupied by the Dime Savings Bank.
The project involves tearing down some of the bank's annex space, although the century-old building's main structure will be preserved.
