Clinton Hill: Apply for Affordable Housing on Myrtle Ave

There are 29 affordable units available in the amenity-filled building. Applications are accepted until Feb. 1, 2017.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN – The new Clinton Hill construction on Myrtle Avenue, right in the heart of it all, is now taking applicants its affordable units. The building between Emerson Place and Washington Avenue is allotting 29 affordable units from its 149 total apartments.

The soon-to-be eight-story residential building that's still under construction near the Key Food supermarket will come complete with amenities like a fitness center, bike storage, outside workout terrace, rooftop with BBQ grills, a coin-operated laundry room, a parking garage, and a dining area and lounge.

The development will be a smoke-free building with no pets allowed. There is no application or broker's fee to apply. Brooklyn Community Board 2 is given preference for half the units.

You can apply online or through the mail for a unit, if you meet the salary requirements. The deadline for applications is no later than Feb. 1, 2017. For more information on how to apply and the selection process, go here.
