Industrial Clinton Hill Building Sells For $20M, Report Says

Workable City Development bought the two-story building at 8-10 Grand Ave. for $20.6 million, the Real Deal reported.

FORT GREENE, NY — A development company known for building homes across the city bought a Clinton Hill industrial building for $20.6 million, the Real Deal reported.

Workable City Development recently purchased the two-story 8-10 Grand Ave. spot — currently home to Outbreak Fitness — from Bruman Realty, the Real Deal reported.

Bruman first bought the property for $14.8 million in 2014, according to the Real Deal.

Workable City aims to build "efficiently-sized family homes" generally by renovating existing properties in apartments, according to their website.

Their projects include the nearby 42 Clermont Ave. in Fort Greene which they converted existing one-bedroom apartments into two and raised rent by more than 70 percent, according to their website.
