FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — The Ashland, a new Fort Green mixed-income development just south of Fort Greene Park, is opening its market-rate apartments up to renters on July 19.

Earlier this year, the building, located at 250 Ashland Pl., took applications for its 282 affordable units. (An adjacent mixed-income project called 300 Ashland will start its lottery application process soon, according to a spokeswoman.)

The Ashland's 304 market-rate units include studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Studios will rent for about $2,600 per month, according to The Gotham Agency, which is managing the property, while three-bedrooms will set you back $7,500 per month.

The building's first floor will also host Gotham Market at The Ashland, featuring multiple restaurant venues, including Mu Ramen and Mason Jar.

Residents can begin moving into the property on August 1, Gotham said. You can learn much more about the property by visiting its website.

Editorial note: a previous version of this story misstated the number of market and affordable units in the building.
