FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Applications are now being accepted for a new mixed-income affordable housing development at 250 Ashland Place.
The 282-unit building includes studio apartments and one, two, and three-bedroom units.

A complete breakdown of what’s available can be found here. Applications can be submitted through the city's Housing Connect website, and forms can be requested by sending a self-addressed envelope to: Ashland Lottery c/o Breaking Ground, PO Box 3620937, New York, NY 10129.
All applications are due by April 11.

Here's some of what's available:
- 24 studios for one person making between $28,835 and $36,300 annually, at a monthly rent of $801.
- 47 one-bedroom apartments for single people making between $30,926 and $360,300, or for two people collectively making between $30,926 and $41,460. They rent at $861 per month.
- 35 two-bedroom apartments for two, three, or four people making a combined total of between $37,166 and $51,780. They rent for $1,042 per month.
- 12 three-bedroom units for between three and six people making a combined income of between $42,892 and $60,120. They rent for $1,196 per month.
The building's amenities include a 24-hour doorman, a roof terrace, a fitness center, a playroom, a resident lounge and more.
Five percent of the units will be reserved for those with mobility-related disabilities, while 2 percent will be held for those with hearing or visual impairments. A full half of the units will be for residents of Brooklyn's Community Board 2, while 5 percent will go to municipal employees.
