New Clinton Hill Condo Selling Units to Households Making $49,000 or Less

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — A new Clinton Hill condo building is accepting applications for 11 apartments for sale to individuals and households with moderate incomes.

The units in Waverly Brooklyn, located at 500 Waverly Ave., are open to households making between $32,617 and $48,923 annually. Here's a breakdown of what's for sale:

• One studio is available for one person making between $32,617 and $38,053 annually. The studio will sell for approximately $156,444.
• Four 1-bedroom units are available for one person making $37,274-$43,487, or two people collectively making $49,700-$57,983 annually. The units have an estimated sale price of between $165,283 and $252,330.
• A total of six two-bedroom apartments are available for 2-4 individuals collectively making between $41,934 and $48,923 annually. The apartments have an estimated sale price of between $163,577 and $179,691.

Those applying should be able to put 10 percent of the purchase price down. You do not need to be a first-time homeowner to apply, but the apartment would need to be your primary residence.

The building's amenities include a resident lounge with a library, a media center, a resident terrace, a fitness center, bike storage, and a rooftop garden with an outdoor shower.
