Bathroom Fire At County Warming Center Leads To Arson Charge: Police
Christian Hall also faces a count of criminal mischief, police said.

UNIONDALE, NY — A Uniondale man is under arrest and charged in connection with arson that took place on Friday morning, police said.
A Nassau County probation officer observed a fire inside the bathroom of the county's warming center in Uniondale, police said.
Christian Hall, 33, was seen standing alone in the bathroom, authorities said.

Police and the Uniondale Fire Department responded to extinguish the blaze. An investigation revealed that Hall was standing in the disabled persons' stall where the walls saw fire damage and the toilet was broken into several pieces, police said.
It was determined Hall was responsible for setting the fire inside the bathroom and was
placed into police custody, authorities said.

The Nassau County probation officer was transported to a hospital and treated for difficulty breathing.
Hall was brought to a nearby hospital for evaluation. He is charged with second-degree arson and second-degree criminal mischief, police said. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday.
