Final Friday Night Promenade Tonight
The summer initiative comes to a close on Seventh Street Sept. 6.
Friday Night Promenade, now in its tenth week, continues Sept. 6 on Seventh Street.
This is the last Friday night of the summer-long initiative.
The Powerplay Band NY will provide the musical entertainment, along with country-style pop singer Gina Naomi Baez and her co-star, Tinkerbelle the dog, who returns for another week. They will be performing between 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Seventh Street.
Members of the Garden City Fire Department will also be on hand displaying various apparatus. Entertainment by magician TJ Tana is also on tap.
Outdoor dining and dinner specials will also be offered at local eateries along Seventh Street.
Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. Seventh Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic and parking beginning at 5:45 p.m.
