GARDEN CITY, NY — Village residents took the polls on Tuesday and elected four members of the Board of Trustees. Residents returned one incumbent to office and elected three other newcomers.

There were four seats up for election this year. Trustee Mary Carter Flanagan, the only incumbent running, was easily returned to her seat. She received the most votes of any candidate running. The other three winners were her fellow For a Better Garden City Party candidates: Charles P. Kelly, Bruce A. Torino and Lawrence N. Marciano.

They beat out the slate of candidates from the Community Agreement Party.
