Garden City Middle School Students 'Pay It Forward'

Students received a card on which they were encouraged to complete and record 12 acts of kindness.

On April 25, Garden City Middle School students, like the sixth-graders pictured, celebrated “Pay it Forward Day.”

Sixty-five countries participated on the designated day with activities designed to initiate acts of kindness that, in turn, fostered new acts of kindness.

At the middle school, students watched a video and received a card on which they were encouraged to complete and record 12 acts of kindness.

This is the first time the school participated in this inter-national event. To show their support, students and staff members wore their “Got Kindness” or a blue shirt.
