GARDEN CITY, NY — Garden City has ranked as one of the best places to call home.

Cardrates.com surveyed more than 3,000 people respondents who reside in the wealthy communities across the U.S. to find out if living there was worth it.

Garden City was rated number 9 on the study's list, pointing to "a low crime rate, a beautiful Long Island location, larger property sizes and a family-friendly community make it a sought-after destination despite the high cost of living."
