Garden City Village Board Agenda: May 2

See what the village's Board of Trustees will be discussing at tonight's meeting.

A bid award for Garden City Fire Department uniforms, acceptance of a $360,000 maintenance bond for the Garden City Community Park roller rink replacement, $105,197 in additional contract work for superstorm Sandy sidewalk repairs and an agreement renewal between the village and Cathedral Nursery School to lease the cottages at St. Paul's are among the many topics included on tonight's Garden City village board agenda.

The board is also expected to fix dates for two public hearings: A local law to require a notice to the clerk for solicitations by certain exempt organizations and a local law to permit non-resident parking at railroad stations.

As part of General Communications, Barbara Brudie-Martis submitted her resignation to the library board effective April 26.

The meeting begins at 8 p.m. in the village hall boardroom. All residents are encouraged to attend.
