Letter to Editor: Support the Community Agreement Candidates
Mayoral candidate and current trustee John Watras submitted the following letter to the editor.
This coming Tuesday, March 19, Garden City residents will have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote in our Village General Elections.
I urge you to come out and support the Community Agreement candidates - For Mayor: Myself, John Watras; and for Trustees: Dennis Donnelly from the East, John DeMaro from the Estates, Robert (Bob) Bolebruch from the West and Richard Silver from the Central.
As your Community Agreement candidate for mayor, I look forward to serving every resident in our entire village. Together with each trustee of your representative section, we will preserve and enhance our equity in this premiere community.
The strength and effectiveness of the board of trustees depends on your support and active participation in our unique local government.
You, the residents, are partners with your trustees in working to maintain Garden City's exceptional programs and services.
Polls are open on Tuesday, March 19, from noon to 9 p.m. Please mark your calendars and come out to vote. Thank you.
