LI Pizza Delivery Man Attacked By 2 Men With BB Gun: Police
No arrests have been made in the Friday overnight incident, police said.
UNIONDALE, NY — Two men got into a fight with a pizza delivery driver in Uniondale. The man was delivering pizza from Papa John's to a residence on Nostrand Avenue, police said.
Just after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, two people came out of the side entrance. They displayed a black handgun and demanded the food, authorities said.
As the victim ran back to his vehicle, the driver side window was shattered, police said. An investigation revealed it was consistent with a BB shooting, police said. The victim suffered a laceration to the head and was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.
