Man In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car: Nassau Police
Police say the man was crossing a road in Hempstead early Friday morning when he was hit.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing a road in Hempstead early Friday morning.
According to police, a 66-year-old man was crossing at the intersection of North Franklin Avenue and Fulton Avenue at 5:55 a.m. when he was hit by a Ford Fusion driven by a 54-year-old man.
The pedestrian suffered severe head trauma and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
