Nassau 7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint

Police are searching for the robber, who threatened employees and stole cash from the store.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man robbed a Hempstead 7-Eleven at gunpoint Thursday night, and Nassau County police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

According to police, the man entered the 7-Eleven located at 797 Peninsula Blvd. at 10:25 p.m. Police say he approached an employee, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The employee gave him money, and the man fled on foot with the cash.

The robber was described as a black man, 6 feet tall with a thin build.
