Nassau Man Violates Probation; Found With Loaded Gun, Heroin: Police

EAST MEADOW, NY — A Westbury man has been arrested for violating his probation, police said.

Benjamin Ramirez Munoz, 22, of Westbury, was found with cocaine, heroin and a loaded .38 caliber handgun, during a Tuesday night probation visit in East Meadow, police said.

He was arrested without incident, authorities said.

Munoz faces several charges including second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and violating his probation, police said.
