Chamber Networking Party, Village Board Meeting This Week

Monday's Marvelous Movie Matinee: The Garden City Public Library will feature "Things Change" (1988, 100 minutes) at 1:30 p.m. in Meeting Room B. Funding for Monday's Marvelous Movie Matinee is provided by The Friends of The Garden City Public Library.

Red Cross Swim Lessons Make Up Test: Red Cross swim lesson make up testing will be held Aug. 20 between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Pool members can come in between these hours only to make up the test. The facility will be closed except for the make up test that will be conducted by lifeguards. The Pool will have normal hours that day (noon - 8 p.m.). Questions? Call the Pool Office at 483-1714.

Chamber Networking Party: The Garden City Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2013 mid-summer networking party on Wednesday evening, Aug. 21. The event will be hosted and sponsored by Doubleday Court at the model of its planned condominiums. Click here for more info.

Village Board Meeting: The Garden City Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting Thursday, Aug. 22, beginning at 8 p.m. in the village hall boardroom to discuss a full agenda. Residents are encouraged to attend.
