
In recognition of the first Father’s Day Brunch, Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano is calling on members of the community to nominate local fathers who have made extraordinary contributions to the community. The first annual Father’s Day Brunch will be held Saturday, June 15, from 9-11 a.m. at The Barn in Old Bethpage Village Restoration. “It is my honor to host this the first annual Father’s Day Brunch which recognizes local fathers for the work they do all year long making our county a better place to live, work and raise a family,” Mangano said. Nominate a Nassau County resident who exemplifies the qualities of outstanding parenthood, such as, kindness, caring, sacrifice and generosity to children; goes above and beyond their responsibilities as parents and citizens and that have made a difference in the community; and has made extraordinary contributions to the community. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Nassau County website, www.nassaucountyny.gov, and should be mailed to Mary Studdert, Administration Building, Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY 11554, or emailed to mstuddert@nassaucountyny.gov no later than Wednesday, May 15.
