Police Search for Identity Thief

Police are seeking help in identifying and locating a person wanted in connection with a grand larceny that occurred in Garden City in May.

Police said a Garden City resident's identity and banking information were compromised on May 1. The person (pictured above) was also observed at a Chase Bank branch in Great Neck at 5:16 p.m. the same day. The person fraudulently withdrew in excess of $4,000 from the victim’s account, police said.

Nassau County Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify the person, or anyone with any information about this crime, to call 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
